Hello community! I am Tomi. Well, thats pretty obvious. This is my first post on the board. Please read my profile and if you have questions about any information in it, feel free to reply. Here is some more information, to make the picture complete
I do have a braille notetaker (the braillenote from humanware) and am using the zone with it right now. It works great with it, and even the sounds play good.
I have been using a computer since age 5. Back then, I was living in Hungary, and we didn't have money to get a good one. So, I just used a 386 intell processor with 4 mb of ram. I used dos, but later started with windows 3.11. I have scene Windows since then, and have used each version for at least 4 months. Recently, I have been testing Vista,, the next Winows version.

I hope you have enjoyed this intro. I think my character limit is almost up. For some reason, itdosen't change (the page still says 8000 characters left)

By the way, I apologise for all spelling mistakes.

regards:

Tomi

Oh wow. I have used the braille note with the zone when I was without a computer. That thing takes a lot of patience! I really admire you for enduring for so long.

Welcome to the zone btw, and may you make a lot of friends!

Greetings to you Tomi,
You may call me Coni (kinda rhymes with Tomi) if you like though "Grace" is my current user name..Many call me by Connie, my first name (Feel free to check in on my profile if you care to)

...anyhow, in answer to your question if at some point while you are typing in your responce, simply hit "backspace" just once for this I have found gives the "number count" of "characters remaining" to be activated. Well, this is what seems to work for me. smile

Again, Welcome Tomi.

hey members,

Well, thanks for all the warm welcomes. There are lots and lots of users out there on this site.
Some of you might already know me as the winy 12 year old who looks for pirated software and is annoying as hell. I want all of you (those who do happen to know me that way and read this) that 3 years have gone by, in which I learned my
English better and have gained a lot of experience. There's a big difference between a 6th and 9th grader. I will be posting on the teen topics board as well.

By the way, Pressing backspace while typing still say 8000 characters left. I have a braillenote m-power. It's nice getting on the zone while i'm in My science class. (I received a wireless card, and always use it) . So while the teacher is lecturing, I just hop on here. I do hate that the keyboard squeeks. So they can see that I'm typing something.

Ok. I will post later.

Have a nice day!

Regards: Tomi
